SALARY : R132 525 – R149 163 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital (CHBAH)

REQUIREMENTS : Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.
Registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant and proof of current registration.
No experience required after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.
Competencies/Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrate elementary understanding of
nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Perform an
elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and
nursing standards as determined by the relevant health facility. Promote quality of
elementary nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and
standards as determined by the relevant health facility. Applicant should be
prepared to undergo Medical surveillance as an inherent job requirement.

DUTIES : Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). Provide elementary
clinical nursing care. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and selfdevelopment.
