Transnet Properties is looking for a Cleaner to service the Prop, HR & Services Department in Durban.
To provide an efficient and effective cleaning service for Offices at the Region, ensuring a high standard of cleaning is delivered and maintained, meeting customers’ expectations.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is in a good working condition and that it is operated in a safe manner; Ensure that all cleaning work is done according to work schedule; Ensure offices, bathrooms, reception areas, kitchens etc. are cleaned according to health and safety standards; Order cleaning materials and refreshments for the region; Ensure refreshments are provided for during meetings and at the request of the Regional Manager; Purchase cleaning materials and refreshments for the region; Cleaning of various areas according to schedule; Report any possible safety and health matters to Risk reps; Ad hoc general office assistance as and when required.
• A grade 12 certificate is required;
• Physically able to perform manual labour
• Cleaning and organising skills
• Good communication skills
• Client service skills
• Understanding of Health and Safety principles in the workplace
• Team player
• Good interpersonal skills
