Statement of Purpose
Provide administrative support to the Business Direct sales team: providing a point of contact linked to the central office for inquiries / requests for customer service, assistance in preparing credit applications and loan documentation, opening accounts, adding value to customers through identifying cross-selling opportunities.
Capitec Admin Positions
Previous experience in general banking of at least 5 years, of which 1 year should have been spent in the Business Banking environment. This experience should have provided a general understanding of how Business Banking operates, as well as an understanding of business risks, industry risks and financial requirements relating to the business market.
Experience in preparing and motivating credit applications is essential
12th Grade National / Professional Certificate
A relevant tertiary qualification
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
A relevant postgraduate diploma
Good knowledge and understanding of the features, benefits and value propositions of the company’s respective product/service offerings.
Good knowledge of general banking practices and procedures.
A thorough working knowledge of available multi-tier products and pricing structures would be advantageous.
Knowledge of the competitor’s product offerings/channels/operational and marketing tactics would be beneficial.
Knowledge of credit principles and practices, including an understanding of credit application, securities and balance sheet requirements.
Knowledge of multiple legal entities (companies, private companies, individual companies, etc.) in the commercial market and the legislative restrictions and requirements that govern them from a financial services perspective.
It would be beneficial to have a good understanding of current tax laws as they apply to the customer base.
A good working knowledge of the Intermediary Services and Financial Consulting Act (FAIS) and the Financial Intelligence Centers Act (FICA).
Extract and apply information to the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) strategy
Good knowledge of administrative processes and procedures related to Business Banking transactions.
